Hi, I’m Jorden.
Born and raised in Homer, Alaska, my parents ran a charter fishing business, and from a young age, I was part of it—starting with booking trips, then cleaning boats, and eventually working as a deckhand on halibut boats and wildlife tours. Those early experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the people, both local and travelers, landscapes, and traditions that make Homer special.
After nearly a decade away, my husband and I moved back just in time to raise our two daughters here. Along the way, I found myself helping local businesses share their stories and connect with more people through online marketing. But something was missing—a space that not only shares local knowledge and passion but also highlights family-friendly adventures, travel itineraries for any budget, and year-round adventure tips for those visiting Alaska for the first time and Alaskans who love Homer.
Whether you're a young adventurer looking for affordable ways to experience Alaska, a family searching for things to do, or a first-time visitor eager to make the most of your trip, this space is for you. Even longtime Alaskans and Homer locals can find fresh perspectives and new ways to enjoy this incredible place.
From custom itineraries to curated seasonal guides and family-friendly adventures, I’ll share everything you need to create memories that last a lifetime.
I’m grateful to share all things Homer with you—whether you’re experiencing it for the first time or it’s already a part of who you are. Thanks for being here.
