Iditarod Activities - Wynnter Sundays
Get into the spirit of the Iditarod at Wynnter Sundays! Celebrate Alaska’s legendary sled dog race with fun activities, fascinating racing facts, and a warm campfire at the Carl E. Wynn Visitor Center. This free family event is part of the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies’ weekly winter series, running every Sunday from 1 PM – 3 PM.

Sean Derry Art Exhibit
Bunnell Street Arts Center presents From Always Until Now, a powerful exhibition by artist Sean Derry, on view from March 7 – April 2, 2025. Through intricate assemblages, Derry explores memory, place, and the transformation of a homesteading cabin in Kachemak Bay. Join the opening reception on March 7 from 5–7 PM, with an artist talk at 6 PM. Free admission.

Friday Night Lights Public Skate
Experience the thrill of ice skating under the lights at Friday Night Lights Public Skate, a weekly event at Kevin Bell Ice Arena. Open to all ages and skill levels, this fun-filled evening runs every Friday from 7:45 – 10:00 PM through May 30, 2025. Admission $7, skate rentals $3, free for HHA members.
