Slide Into Fun at the Kachemak Ski for Women 2025!
Get your skis and costumes ready—it’s time for the Kachemak Ski for Women, happening on Sunday, February 9th, 2025, at the Lookout Mountain Ski Trails in Homer, Alaska! This annual event promises a day of winter fun, friendly competition, and community spirit, all for a great cause.
Event Highlights:
⛷️ Race or Leisurely Ski:
Take on the 2.5km loop at 11:30 AM to compete for the “Kachemak Fastest Female Skier” crown or enjoy a more relaxed pace with friends and family.
🎭 Costume Contest:
Show off your creativity with solo, paired, or group costumes! Prizes will be awarded to the most fabulous and fun outfits.
🎉 Support a Great Cause:
Proceeds benefit the South Peninsula Haven House, making your participation even more meaningful.
Event Schedule:
11:00 AM: Registration opens (online or in-person).
11:30 AM: Sprint wave kicks off (1 lap).
11:35 AM: Costume party wave hits the trails!
12:30 PM: Awards ceremony for speed and costumes.

Cost: $15 suggested donation (register online or in person).
